The first stages of creating the main character that will inevitably be turned into sprites for a game I'm working on. These are just a few screen shots.
This is a photo I took of the pumpkins I carved at CCS freshman year for Halloween. Unfortunately, this is the only picture I could get because my batteries died right after this picture. We weren't allowed to use candles to illuminate the insides of the jackolanterns so I took my light box and covered it with a yellow bag from the school store and the result was what you see. Heehee.
This a sweet pic taken of me by Dave freshman year. Our styles in composition are complete opposites. I like to use more classical, full figure, or portrait compositions. He likes use more contemporary, zoomed in, cropped compositions. But who cares?! This pic is awesome!
Hmm, I don't remember the assignment, but I do remember staying up all night to finish it. I think it turned out pretty cool. It looks much better in real life.
The assignment was to create a gradated design inspired by a found texture. This happened to be inspired by the cable bunched up in the front of our dorm room.
I made this video in Fall 2008 in 2D Digital Animation under Scott Northrup. I experimented a lot with the various tools that After Effects has to offer in this one. Over all, I think it turned out pretty well. There are still some spots that I wish I could go back and polish up, but I'd rather just leave it as is. Keep moving forward! Enjoy!
